Would you believe I pulled a total dude move on our anniversary? There I was, standing in my in-laws kitchen talking about how excited I was to be attending the Weapons of Mass Creation Fest, when my darling husband said, "What a minute... do you know next weekend's our anniversary?"
Uhhhhh....
Oops! And boy was I embarassed to have my mother and father-in-law witness my fumble! Good thing Phil's such an understanding man! So, I packed my bags for a weekend with friends and creatives in Cleveland, leaving Phil behind to a kitchen full of dirty dishes, clothes tossed around the bed (I'm a last minute packer, and a bit of a manic one at that!). Happy 5th anniversary, hunny! Well, at least we had a romantic date at our favorite ice cream shop before I left.
Ha! I forget our anniversary almost every year. I know it's sometime in June...
My husband, on the other hand, (who can't remember any other date in his life) remembers it. Thankfully. ;)

Whoops,
My mama used to work at Taggerts in Canton. We go there every time I visit.
What's that place called?

Happy anniversary, guys! ;D I bet this is a very special one with the baby girl on her way!
By the way, I'm glad your husband is making more appearances in this blog! He's a cutie!
Hugs!

You two are adorable, and don't fret about forgetting one little anniversary you'll have a hundred more. Milk&Honey is one of my favorite places to go to when I visit my Grandparents in Ohio, it's always kind of been our "thing." I remember begging them to let me get a milk shake and a pickle when I was a kid, instead of dinner of course. So many memories. I'm so glad it's never changed a bit. Love it.

What beautiful shots! That's like yesterday how my mom told my dad and my husband and I that we'll be married for eight years next Tuesday and I said, "It's next week!?? I didn't even think about what to do for it."
This was cute by the way. It isn't that you forgot it. . .I mean if the day was there and you forgot it, that would be sad. . .

He he...the mister and I often both forget, so at least one of you remembers?? ;) What a darling little ice cream shop, though - the little moments like that are the best, anyway... :)

Happy anniversary! Remember... anything you forget now is all because of pregnancy brain & then when baby arrives forgetfulness becomes baby brain. It is all good.

That makes me happy! I think of M&H often, wishing we had something more like it here in the 'Noog.
