After painting our living and dining rooms, I must admit, I was a little terrified to hang any artwork. (I'm notorious for nailing, chanigng my mind, and nailing again.) We've been here for two months, and I'm just now putting some stuff on the walls. I'm really glad that I've finally taken that step, though, because it makes me realize that we already have a lot of what we need to make this place our home. No need to be sad about not being able to buy pretty new things, like wallpaper and curtains!
I will be sharing the rest of the living room, and the story behind our wall color when the day comes that curtains are on our windows. And until then, I hope you enjoy taking a peek at what little I've accomplished so far!

Beautiful! Every time I move I always rush to hang pictures and put up art work, but I thinks it's better to wait a while like you did.

lol, I too am terrible for saying I will not put anything up on freshly painted walls (as I always change my mind). However, the holes happen... a lot. Your space is great... airy and bright!

After seeing this, I. must. go. to the Medina Antique Mall, I am clearly missing out! Is that Yesterday's Refections place worth the drive down from CLE? (not that it's all that far, I'm just oh so lazy..)

Love what little you do have done! Definitely inspirational. You're killing me, though. I can not WAIT to get my own home to decorate! sigh...

Katie, yes you MUST go to the Medina Antique Mall! It's currently my favorite shopping place in the world. Affordable, wide variety, and mostly quality vintage items. I'm not sure what Yesterday's Reflections is, but there are some shops at the Falls River Square District in Cuyahoga Falls that are worth a visit if you are ever in the area. :)
