Ooh la la! If you've been reading for a while, you will already know that I think Ms. Taylor was the bee's knees. Her movies rank among the top of my all-time favorites list, and last December, I even decided to get a hair chop and perm, partially inspired by the movie star siren.
I found these images of Elizabeth Taylor from a 1952 Esquire magazine, and my affection for her almost-pixie-cut had returned. And as some of you have so keenly pointed out, my hairs are growing fast! So now, what do I do? Do I grow out my impulsively chopped locks? Or go all-out for the real Liz? Decisions decisions. Oh, but isn't she lovely? And isn't that little doll in the top photos creeeepy?!
*just* chopped my grown-out short bob last week, and now I have virtually the same hairdo as Liz Taylor in the shots above. And I stinking love it. Go for it!

If I were on your place, I would think about what hair style would be more easy, because of the baby. What would look better if have no time to style it :)

Do you know your hair can behave differently when you are pregnant? Also, a little discussed fact is that your hair loss (natural obviously), slows down when you are pregnant, and it can look full and fabulous. The down side is, it makes up for it after the baby is born (from about 6 weeks after if memory serves), and it seems to shed EVERYWHERE. I think you look very cute with your short hair and taking into account what lies ahead I would definitely go for it. Quite a lot of women get their hair cut shorter when they are pregnant or just after having a baby. Post-natal hair should be easy to style (i.e. with the fingers of one hand in about 15 seconds, or can be tied back), lol.

Cut it! You've had long hair before, so try it short while you have the chance!

The doll is everything that is creepy! Ick. Back to Liz... every time I see images of her I want to cut my hair. A year ago I confidently walked into the salon to have this cut... they didn't want to do it? Back and forth between us... I really really do want to cut my hair... you will regret it she said... then I am thinking do I want this person to be the one to cut my hair? Argh. Ended up leaving with a cut no where near what I wanted. What is with that? I am sitting at shoulder length now.. which can go either way. So I am right with ya... what to do? lol. Thanks for sharing these great images of Liz.

that doll is way creepy! Luckily, Liz takes center stage so my eyes are focused on her and her beauty and the not the scariness of that demon doll.

Valerie's comment reminded me of how after I had my first baby I lost a good inch off of my hairline!!
Thankfully it grew back...if you look at pictures of Katie Holmes after she gave birth you can tell she had the same issue, her hairline started to grow back after months and you can see the little hairs sticking straight up in the front. I had very long hair but once the little guy was on the move I cut it all off one day...there was just no time to keep up with styling it!
