If I were to have a super power, I think it would somehow involve the ability to masterfully coordinate patterns for the perfectly quirky outfit. I absolutely adore April's ability to take busy patterns and somehow combine them to create a charmingly funky take on classic pieces. Separately, each item might not turn my head. But together? So lovely! Below is my effort at recreating her masterpiece, but if you're not looking to spend that much money on an outfit (Psssh! I know I'm not!), I think you could probably find very similar items at the thrift store.
- floral blouse: Anthropologie $88.00
- animal print cardigan: ASOS $54.89
- plaid skirt: ASOS $54.89
- ribbon-tie shoes: ModCloth $39.99
- polka dot socks: ModCloth $11.99
Oh I love her style too! I'm always nervous about mixing patterns, but she does it so beautifully.

I totally agree! These all seem like really great pieces to find at random vintage/thrift stores around town. I really like how they all sort of mesh together unexpectedly.

Oh, thanks for sharing April's style with us! That is seriously a beautiful mix of patterns, and I can see that being inspiration for some fall outfits. Especially cute patterned socks!

I am a huge fan of mixing and clashing prints. They make for really interesting outfits. :-D
