She's come a long way in the past year, and I've finally outfitted her with a headlight and blinkie for the back. The Canton crew has been biking to and from shenanigans recently, and my new basket has been conventient for transporting wine to dinner parties or my laptop to get some work done at Muggswigz.
My most recent addition has been this skirt guard from Simeli. Suspsicously close to my own name, I figured owning this model (Ananda) was meant to be. The customer service at Simeli was wonderful, and I highly reccomend purchasing one of these pretties. Time and time again I am asked if I made them myself, but they're so intricate, I'm not sure if anyone would actually believe if I told them I did. Maybe it can be a winter project to make something similar for friends?

I've had Simeli bookmarked for a long time....they create such lovely bike accessory. When we were in the Netherlands last summer, I was so enamored with the bicycle culture. There are 500,000 bicycles in Amsterdam!!! Didn't do any riding in the city, but we stayed in a little village and rode around the Dutch countryside. Heavenly...

I've been yearning for one of those dress guards for ages :'c but my bike's been wounded in combat and it's kind of useless in my sprawling city anyway, poor old guy.
