Oh, the modern woman. We've progressed so far since the past century, and yet so many of us still wear debilitatingly high-heeled shoes and paint our faces in order to feel beautiful. I'm all for girl power, but I must admit, I find it an advantage over men that it is socially acceptable for us to indulge in the vanity of makeup. It's pretty nice to fall back on some under-eye concealer and mascara when you wake up and cringe at your reflection staring back at you.
So, without further ado, I present to you my makeup toolbox. I might not use them all every day, but I would feel shamefully lost without these wonders in my makeup kit. My beauty must haves are some concealer, moisturizer, bronzer (over foundation), my urban decay eye shadow palette, covergirl lash blast, and dry shampoo! I love that shade of red, by the way! Thanks for sharing your tool kits! <3

Love NARS lipstick! Definitely one of those things that's worth the splurge.

Oh man, I'm totally all for girl power AND I adore cosmetics. I can spend so much on skin care and make up when I'm really quite cheap when it comes to other things like clothing etc... I like your list.

I think more than just vanity, makeup is just a super fun way of expressing yourself. It is the best artificial pick me up ever!

Also benefit's "Dr Feelgood" and the "Benetint"!! I love all the double-up stuff (like Benetint, which is a cheek and lip tint).

I actually wasn't into jewellery for a very long time but people tend to give me it as presents that's why I've got a huge collection. I guess there are about 80 pairs of earrings... That's why I started wearing selected ones. But when it's summer, I feel more comfortable without any jewellery.

I love having a peek into people's make-up bags!
What's number 10?

Oops! I can't believe I forgot to list #10! haha Thanks for noticing Sarah, it's been updated.

Oh wow, I love this list and I completely agree with Sarah; finding out what other people use is an added inspiration! Plus, I work in cosmetics and it helps to be able to recommend products.
The L'Oreal True Match Mineral Foundation is amazing too - perfect for year round, but it definitely stays put and never streaks in humidity. A massive plus for summertime!

So as for product number 6, is it a good one?? I have been looking for a good dry shampoo and have never heard of this one. I must look into this. I love peeking in on what people have in their beauty bag, fun and informative share:)

Patty, Yep! I love this dry shampoo. I went to the mall with my mom and her friend to get some dry shampoo (Ojon brand), and then the friend told me she had this stuff that she wouldn't use any more, because it made her scalp too dry. I have the opposite problem, so it's perfect for me. I really liked Ojon too, but you either love or hate the smell of it.
Really, all of these products here are things that I've settled on after trying lots of other things, so I would recommend anything on this list. :)
