Yesterday I took the day off from working here at home, and decided to go antique window-shopping. Which is silly, because I can never go antiquing and come home empty-handed! I found three 1950's dresses and a darling pair of polkadot kid gloves, which I plan on getting quite a bit of use out of this Spring.
While I was out and about, I saw so many lovely things that I wanted to buy and share with you all. Which bring me to my big important question....
Would you be interested in shopping a boutique section at Fine & Dandy Vintage? The idea would be to stock the shop with gorgeous and very stylish garments from the 1910's-1960's, but priced higher than what you would normally find in the shop's inventory. The prices would probably range from 65-80 dollars for a dress and 35-50 dollars for a top or skirt. Fine & Dandy would still be stocked with more affordable vintage goods that range from the 1960's-1990's, but the boutique section would supplement the inventory with absolutely gorgeous frocks that could be staples in your wardrobe. So, whatdya say? Interested?
In other news, my dear friend, Kara Haupt, has just released a new version of her wonderful Fashion Faux Pas series. Head on over to see me and other bloggers with our wearable styles featuring common fashion no-nos. If you are interested in seeing my other Fashion Faux Pas guest posts, you can see them here and here.
I'd defiantly say yes yes!

I say yes! Before I read the question, I was guffawing over the prints in those photos! So gorgeous.
Thanks for playing along, lovely. <3

Yes! I am terribly interested (though I think my purse is already crying).
I would say that it would work because you would be treating it as a separate section rather than trying to mix the boutique and the affordable. I think it's a great way to share those extra special items you just can't price the same way.

LOVE the lace camisole you're wearing - it's so pretty and I love that you paired it with a yellow skirt! :)

I say yes! Most definitely! :)
I already love the clothing in your shop, and adding a boutique section would send me broke (in a good way...at least i'd look pretty!)
Dresses of that era cost well over $100 in the vintage stores close to me here in Australia, so i'm always looking online to purchase (the vintage dress i purchased for my Mama's wedding cost $165!)
so YES! Please do :)

I tend to really only spend $25-$60 on clothes but I guess it would depend on the piece. Although I'm an XS-SM so a lot of the times I can't find vintage in my size. :( The curse of being so small busted.
