I was struck by how easy this outfit seemed, yet how put-together and glamorous it looks as well. That's the essence I wanted to evoke in a scrapbook page. Most of all, I loved the colors and the touches of florals.
age. Most of all, I loved the colors and the touches of florals.
Instead of navy, I used black as the bold background. I found this page of shoes from a magazine page I had saved. To it, I added kraft paper, leather and cardstock, as well as clippings from a vintage magazine. My scriblly journaling adds the easy air you see in the outfit. Casual, and a bit fancy, I think!
Oh man. This has me dying to scrapbook.

it's so neat how you make fashion the inspiration for a scrapbook page. i'm such a scrapbook novice, i stare at the blank page not knowing which direction to go. i'm looking forward to having this kind of confidence in my scrapbooking...and having it turn out so beautiful!
