Happy birthday to my newly redhead self!

Big news, guys! First- I turned 25 years of age this Tuesday. Second- I have a brand new hairdo! On Sunday Phil and I had a hair cutting marathon, during which I decided to go ahead and become a strawberry blonde, as I had been contemplating for the past couple of months.

So, feeling fresh and new (and a little weird) I enjoyed my birthday with new hair and old friends. My family and I dined at a Middle Eastern restaurant, and afterwards, Phil and I headed to meet up with friends (as per my usual Tuesday night activity) and surprise, surprise! When I walked through the door, many friends were there to shout birthday greetings from a decorated bar.

I cannot even explain how amazing it was that even the bartenders had a wrapped gift for me, decorated the bar, and gave me drinks on the house. Friends showered me with balloons and thoughtful little gifts, hugs, and just all of the support I could ever want.

It was such an amazing night, and by far my best birthday yet. Have I mentioned lately how much I love little ol' Canton, Ohio? Well, I do. And I like to think that my friends are the most amazing in all of the land.

Happy quarter of a century! I'm turning 25 this year myself, I'm excited for it too. Hopefully I can have as nice of a celebration as you did :)
