I remember, as an adolescent, reading about some girls in a novel who were going to have their "colors done." I guess it used to be the thing to do. Consultants to tell you what colors you should wear, and which colors you shouldn't. I'm not sure if I know what my colors are, but green is one that makes me the happiest of all. Annnnd....! It even aids in digestion. No lie. That's what my college education taught me. :)
This fall I have been wearing a lot of blacks and browns, greens and creams, and burgundy. What are your go-to colors this season? (P.S. I plan on mixing it up a bit, color-wise, before I get stuck in a rut.)
Outfit details:
blouse: Etsy vintage
skirt: thrifted a long time ago
belt: Dillards (07 clearance)
shoes: UO
tights: Hue
there's nothing like green to highlight raven colored hair!!! One of my faves...I think this season I am really wearing a lot of mustard yellow though...its such a cozy color and makes me feel so festive!

Green is definitley your color. It's funny, that people were actually paid to figure out what colors do best on other people. As far as my go to colors, I guess it would be black. I've been finding myself gravitating to it a lot more. A close second is navy though.

This is a lovely outfit, I really like the shirt. How does it aid digestion? I'm really curious now!

Andrea,
I suppose mentally, the color green prepares our digestive system to eat. The color blue keeps us from eating as much, red makes us eat faster and more. Pink is calming. It's all about color psychology when we were talking about designing restaurants. :)

I totally agree with everyone's comments. You look AMAZING in Green. Prepare yourself for a major TMI: I just painted my bathroom green...and I would agree with the statement that it aids in digestion. :)

I didn't know that people actually went and "had their colors done". That is such a foreign concept to me. I like to wear what I want! Ha. And this green does look great on you. I love it with the shoes!
