The photo above is how life looked on Wednesday night. A total mess. But promising! The next day was my senior showcase for interior design school... and I was going out of my mind finishing projects early and preparing my display for the show. I didn't get many good photos of the show, regrettably... But here is a bit of what the show looked like...
It's a bit difficult to show you an accurate picture of my display... because a camera lens just does't capture the lighting of my backlit floor plans the same way a human eye would. I built the display with two holes where I installed lights that would shine through floor plans which were printed onto vellum. I was quite pleased with how it looked, but these pictures don't show an accurate portrayal.
Most students place their work on premade displays provided from the University. But our graduating class was so large that there wasn't enough display for everyone. Myself and three other students decided we wanted to build our own displays, and I was very pleased with how excited the Junior class was about the idea of building their own displays next year. (Some of the juniors are pictured below.)
After all is said and done, I must say that I truly appreciate the support and help of my family (especially my dad!), professors, and classmates. I'm going to miss everyone when school is done in two weeks. Two weeks?!
how extremely beautiful and professional!!!

It looks like you set the bar high for next year! And are you wearing jeans?!
It looks lovely. My favorite parts (since I can't appreciate it the way a design student would) are the wood tones and the font of your name cut out. It looks really top notch, Mandi!
