I'm not a big fan of horses. Like in person. They are stinky and kind of scary, in my opinion. Although I will admit they might be pretty to look at. And apparently they are pretty to listen to as well. I've noticed a strange common thread in my iTunes playlist lately. Horses.
Sadly, Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse committed suicide last week. So sad. A life ended before its time. He made some beautiful music.
I love love band of horses so much. My favourite song is No One's Gonna Love You. Thanks for sharing the other horse named bands. I hadn't heard them before. I love all the stringed instruments and harmonies in that horsefeathers song. very peaceful. it is very weird with all the suicide reports lately. That's like how this week Cory Haim killed himself. I've seen quite a few of his films and hoped he'd clean up but alas. . .sad.

Sort of a random comment... but the pic of the band under Horse Feathers is actually another band called Other Lives (who you should ALSO check out if you love the aforementioned horse bands). BEAUTIFUL music.
Love love love the blog... just thought I'd point that out and perhaps let you in on some other good tunes!

when i saw this blog post title i immediately thought of the scene in "sleepless in seatle" when meg ryan is driving down the interstate at christmas time flipping through the radio stations and "jingle bells" comes on but the intro is a chorus of ladies singing the words "horses horse horses horses" and meg mocks them....haha...i have no idea if that's what you had in mind when you wrote that but oh well...i laughed....haha...xo
