The problem with collections is that there's never anywhere to put them. The problem with large coffee tables is that they look so awfully awkward and empty. But together? Oh baby.
This is my small milkglass collection (with some fake milkglass mixed in). And I think it looks lovely on my big coffee table. Milkglass pedestal dishes are the easiest things to find at thrift stores, so I'll be on the look out for some new pieces to add to the table. But- I must remember to leave enough room for a laptop and cup of coffee!
Any pretty collections you've been keeping in hiding?
Hi Mandi! I really love your style! I have been collecting milk glass dishes for a while now, and I love seeing yours all together like that. I live in Utah and have about 5 pieces so far.
Let me guess, the fake one is the tall big one. I almost bought two like that yesterday, but I changed my mind. What a great collection you have!

my sis wants to start a milkglass collection. so far, she collects vintage hats and cameos. i collect suns (they're all in my kitchen) and cool coffee mugs. the coffee mugs aren't on display--they're in the cabinets. i'd love to have a cool open-shelving system where i could display them, though!
i love your idea of the milkglass on the coffee table. :)

Very pretty. I don't collect much of anything. Will have to think about it. :)

I think you should periodically fill them with colorful items, random items. But maybe all the same color.
