and the beginning of Summer. Each year, the exciting transition is marked by the annual Jaycee Fair. It takes place one block from my house, which means we can walk to get funnel cakes and cotton candy, should we so choose. :) (Of course, we will choose.) But it also means you have to be extra careful about safety. Of belongings, at least. Last year my CD player was stolen from my (unlocked) car.
But all CD player thefts aside, I seriously love the location of our home. We're right smack dab in the middle of North Canton, Ohio (not to be confused with Canton, Ohio, I might add. Canton's just ten minutes south, but a whole world away, it would seem). I guess our town was voted one of the top 100 places to live in the U.S. We were probably 99 on the list, but hey, that entitles me to some bragging rights, doesn't it? :) We can walk to most places from our house, like to grocery stores, schools, parks, ice cream stands, baseball fields, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and fun things like that. Also, we're right by the highway, so it's easy to get anywhere else we would need to go (like Akron, which is where I drive 15 minutes every day to go to school). So yes. I love our home town. And without further ado, I love the Jaycee Fair. (Even if I'm not a teeny bopper (any more) who goes there to walk around with my friends.)
It looks like you got the low lighting thing down pat, great shots! I love fairs, but yes, they are mostly filled with teeney boppers running around and/or drunk hicks...but maybe that's just where I come from :S

Ohhhh please please please share your camera settings andlight situations. The pics are magical. Our fair here in Canada is SUPER scuzzy and filled with rubbies from the west side of town. It is too bad b/c it only happens once a year and here in Cananda we love our summers!!!!
