who suggested Hobby Lobby for kraft paper. It's perfect! And I'm all stocked up now. :) I was even inspired (amongst all the chaos of the last week of school) to create some layouts. Now, Vanessa seems to be popping up a lot in my layouts. I can't help the fact that her photos are so relevant to me right now. :)
(as are, apparently, smiley faces as well)
I've never done a color scheme like this! And it was fun! Hambly has some great red things in their shop, but sometimes it's hard for me to use it with all of the other bright papers I have. So I'm happy to be able to use red, even though it's not Christmastime. :) And besides, what other color would suit a layout about Ohio? That's what I thought.
I even brought a little bit more red in by painting the thickers which were formerly black. Tada!
Love this layout!!! Maybe it's because it's about Ohio, I dunno. We went to the Ohio caverns when I was a teenager (I grew up in Cleveland), and I *just* got rid of my sweatshirt from that trip last year. :)
This layout is really fun. I love how you used the sewing to extend the lines of the arrow sign. Genius! What kind of paint did you use with the thickers? I'm interested :)
