errr
Office, I mean.
My brother and my dad were working on the future office of our house, before dad's retina surgeries. That was five weeks ago. My brother's made some progress without him, but really, it's pretty much a construction zone. Which is awesome when you want to make messy crafty stuff and happen to need power tools. Because most likely you will find the one you need laying about somewhere.
So, I definitely took this photo as a self portrait... but lookie there at the ground... that drill is almost all you need to make this project. "What project" you ask? Well, last week, I was planning on doing a project to hang my stockings. Yeah, yeah, I already showed that project yesterday, but that was just an alternate! I had actually planned on doing something completely different. And while I like the concept behind this project, I really feel that I need to completely redo it with different sizes of materials and whatnot. But in any case, I wanted to share the idea with you here in case any of you need some hanging solutions in your home.
So without further ado...
Branch hooks. Basically, all you need are some somewhat thick branches, small wooden plaques, white spray paint, and a drill. All I did was drill holes into some plaques I bought at the craft store, jammed the sticks into it with some glue, and sprayed the thing white. I'm thinking I might make a bigger version of this for hanging jewelry. I would put picture hooks on the back, if you were going to mount these on the wall. But I'm not sure if I'm going to use them or not. Basically, I don't have anywhere for them at the moment. Maybe when the office is done? :)
Hell, yes!

Genius! totally going to use that for jewelry. Now only if it'll stop raining so I don't get moist branches...

I am in love with your reconstructed jean shirt, did you make it or buy it dahling? If the former how? I'm inspired to cut apart all my old jean shirts from the 90's...I think I still have at least 2 of them some where.....
