Or maybe even just the first note. You know what I'm talkin about... the ears perk up... and that crooning voice comes next. Good ol' Bing Crosby. Singing White Christmas. After hearing that song approximately three million, four hundred, seventy-two times, I still get the warm fuzzies. And quit rollin your eyes! Christmas isn't Christmas without "all that snow...." And I think that's why I've been subconsciously choosing lots of white in my holiday decor.
So here it is.
The very whitest that it gets. Our garage sale wrought iron chandelier gets a Christmas facelift.
We bought this chandelier for ten dollars at a garage sale last June.
It was oh so black and definitely dingy. But we cleaned it up, spray painted it white, changed up the assembly a bit, and voila! (I seem to be saying that a lot lately!) A new light. And while I would prefer something a bit funkier or modern, the traditional light holds its own in our home. And it was *PERFECT* for hanging the pom pom garland and flocked snowflakes! The snowflakes twirl and whirl around... and I literally just sit there and stare at them. hehe
So, I'm diggin the white Christmas vibe. And I'll be sharing more of it soon!
Mandi...um so that is completely gorgeous. lol. This is what I want Christmas to look like. :]
