Etsy Favorites: Vintage Pillows

Pillows

 (1 * 2 * 3 * 4 * 5 * 6)

Pillows are one of my absolute favorite decor items. It's really easy to change the look of a living room by changing out the pillows. Lately I've been obsessed with buying vintage pillows. They have a unique look and add a happy vibe that's difficult to achieve with the modern pillows available at chain stores. So, once again, Etsy has stolen my heart with their sellers' inventory of wonderful vintage pillows. A lot of the pillows I have in my own living room are vintage from Etsy, but here a few that I have been eyeing and haven't snatched up quite yet. Oh, and I feel the need to mention that there's a really cute granny chic pillow cover available at Half Caf as well!

One of the things I love to do is hunt for things on Etsy that have "the look."  This time around I've picked a few things from my favorites that have the Jonathan Adler look. I love how he has mastered the funky kitsch look that avoids looking tacky and always seems high style. Here are a few things that could give a little west coast hip to your home.

Etsy Favorites- Entertaining

Fall-entertaining2

Everyone should have a few go-to-staples for when a girlfriend pops in to visit.  Coffee or tea?  I think you could serve either plus something delicious to eat if you had these items from my Etsy favorites.

Dream-dining-room

I love scouring Etsy for great vintage items.  I joke that all of my profits from Half Caf get recycled back into another vintage seller's hands, but really, it's kind of true!  So, here are some things that I think would look lovely in my dream dining room.

The industrial sign would be really cool resting atop a Danish sideboar, along with the doily lady creating a vignette along with a porcelain hand and owl.  On the table I would place the gorgeous blue tray with the ceramic pitcher and a plate of scones.

The floral pillow would look fabulous resting on the head chair of the dining room table, don't you think?
